5/29/05: This year’s Sowebo Arts Festival will be directly followed by an after-party/show in the Carriage House with psychedelic sounds by cytoplastik! The lineup will include some new tricks from the latest manifestation of Zeug!, featuring Kresimir on bass; the toothy acid beat of K-rai; and the debut performance of a new project: The Supreme Now, featuring Keith Jones of Pläns Pläns and some other familiar faces.

Rachel David - The newest Cytoplastik member - has several pieces of excellent metal sculpture on display at the City Gallery - 330 N. Charles St.  They will be on display until May 14.  Come check them out.

Interface is bringing to the public of Ventura, a subterranean subliminal assasination of grand proportion.  We'll be invading San Souci from 11:00pm to midnight on Tuesday, May 17th.  Thanks to Left Side and Eric G for the headlining set! 

DJ K-Rai will be joining the batty fruits @ the PowWow, playing under the geodesic dome, around 3pm-ish (and, if you're lucky, in the evening too ;x)

Miles Gannett and Florian Mosleh will be performing together at the Intertribal POW WOW on May 1st @ Ferry Bar Park in Baltimore. Their set starts at 6pm under the dome.

 The 420 festival went off and Interface was heard to rock the house.  Given a 45-minute set, they went undenied into well over an hour and a half, plus encore.  FreEQ, Samtrak, and Oberon fiercely brought experimental talents never witnessed previously on the San Buenaventura County Farigounds.  A custom video presentation was created that went with the vibe of their eclectics electronic spew.  The vibe was live, and party goers were moving.  Cytoplastik has arrived fully on the Left Coast, and all concerned parties should be aware.  More guerilla appearances to come!

INTERFACE TO PLAY ON  420!

The Project known as Interface will be performing music as well as complimentary chakra balancing on April 20, 2005, at Seaside Park in Ventura, California.  Come out and get your smoke on, check out three live electronic acts as well as an eclectic mix of DJ's doin their spinny thing.  Contact Oberon for more details

The Whole Gallery, a space which has previously hosted several exhibitions by your favourite collective is one of 122 galleries in baltimore participating the in the Tour De Clay. A series of exhibitions by over 878 local and international sculptors. The exhibition features a stunning collection of contemporary works and will be on display at the space until saturday. Admission is free.

devo jenkins was on hand to @ the 13th floor to document an accurate visual representation

Thursday March 3rd, the monthly electronic music event at the 13th Floor  in Baltimore was once again invaded by a fellow pod. KRai played the opening slot, stirring up an extravagant collection of digitally distorted Tracker permutilations.

Just in case anyone forgot:

there's nothing quite so engaging as  lo-fi computer hardware churning out  digitally processed floor stomping noise being perpretrated by a giddy madman hopping around under trippy lighting.

And it was delivered in good quantities last night. The KRaister performed about an hour long set mixed of new and old material.
